Overview
The UPS authentications will refresh each time a request is made to UPS. However, tokens have an expiration time that is typically 60 days from the time it was created. If no requests are made in 60 days, the token will expire. Complete the procedure below if your UPS token has expired to get a new token.
Requirements
You must have the following things to complete this procedure:
- A web browser connected to the internet.
- Your UPS credentials to log in to your account on the UPS site.
- Access to Ship/FX Admin on the server where eFORMz runs.
- A password from Minisoft for the online OAuth token registration. Request the password from support@minisoft.com.
Procedure
These steps should be completed in order without long breaks.
- If you do not yet have a password for the online OAuth token registration, send a message to support@minisoft.com asking for one.
- Open your browser and go to:
- Authenticate with your email address and the password from Minisoft and click Login.
- Click Authorize Minisoft Ship/FX UPS and you will be transferred to ups.com.
- On the ups.com page:
- Click Log In and log in with your UPS credentials.
- Complete the questions, and you will be returned to the token page.
- Copy all of the XML near the bottom, including <root> and </root>. This is your refresh token.
- In your browser, start Ship/FX Admin. If you are on the server, you usually can open it as https://localhost:8000/aFORMz/SHIPFXAdmin.
- Go to ShipFX Configuration > 000001 > Domestic > USPS2 API:
- Click UPS under Carrier.
- On the right, click Update Authentication Credentials.
