Overview
A Document Component is a descriptor that defines particular layout properties. It is used to help customize the look and design of your document and it's data. This article is meant to illustrate the tools available within Document Components.
Requirements
- eFORMz Composer.
- Knowledge on how to create a project.
- Basic knowledge of variables.
Procedure
Adding A Document Component
To add a Document Component:
- Right-click on the form of your choosing.

Select Add Document Component -> Paragraph
- A dialog box will open, which allows you to customize various properties of the paragraph.
- Click OK

- Within your project tree, a Document Template and Paragraph node will appear on your project's tree.
- Right click on the Paragraph node
- Select Add text.
- Select Text value.
- Within the dialog box you can add any text to your liking. In our case we will be going with 'Hello World'.
- Click OK.
- Select Add text.
- Display Forms and Data to see your text within the Viewer Window.
