How To Convert JSON to XML

Overview

This article provides instructions on how to convert a JSON file to XML using the eFORMz Composer.

Requirements

1. eFORMz Composer software installed.
2. A JSON file to be converted.

Procedure

1. Open the JSON file in the eFORMz Composer.
   
   
   
2. The JSON file will appear in the Viewer.
   
   
   
3. Right-click the project and select:
   1. Add Preprocessor.
   2. JSONPreprocessor.
      
      
      
4. In the JSON Preprocessor Properties dialog, enter a value for the XML Root field.
   
   
   
5. Choose the appropriate character set, such as ISO-8859-1.
6. The JSON file will automatically be converted into XML format.
